Aviation Maintenance Technology

Overview

This program provides training in aircraft technology. Students will learn to perform maintenance, remove & replace components, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems, while also learning to develop plans to analyze and develop solutions for aircraft problems using approved maintenance materials.

Upon graduating, students will be qualified to take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 147 tests.
Plenty of job opportunities within north central West Virginia, including at companies like Mitsubishi and Pratt and Whitney.
Program was featured in the PBS Special “The Future is You”, a project to encourage West Virginians, particularly females, to explore careers in the aviation industry.
