The Phlebotomy course has 150 contact hours to prepare students with the instruction
and laboratory education needed to sit for the American Medical Technology (AMT) Phlebotomy
Certification Exam. Completing the training and passing the certification exam will
prepare students for immediate work in the healthcare industry. This certification
will also articulate as prior learning credits allowing interested students a pathway
to continue their education and enter Pierpont’s Medical Laboratory Assistant Program.
Students receive a textbook and classroom supplies included in the course fee. Testing
vouchers are also included in the cost of tuition.
Upon completion of the training, students will be eligible to sit for the American
Medical Technology (AMT) Phlebotomy Certification.
Training Cost: $2,000Course payment is due 2 weeks prior to the start of the course.Financial
